Saundra (Shapiro) Tobin arranged for Bill Rowat,
a professional actor and videographer
to film key events at the reunion for us
and helped him to edit the resulting video.
What a great initiative! Thanks, Saundie!
The following items have been captured on the video.
- Friday buffet
- The Saturday afternoon show
- Saturday dinner & dance
- Sunday brunch
The video is available in three versions:
- Online
The video is available for
streaming here.
Unless you have a very fast broadband connection,
you will probably find it tiresome
to watch this as it is being streamed.
However, with the appropriate software,
you can save the streamed file on your computer
and watch it when it has finished downloading.
- Living-room DVD
You can order a DVD
that you can slip into your living-room DVD player
and watch from your favourite armchair,
with a glass of wine, a plate of cheese,
and your children (perhaps even your grand-children)
sitting on the sofa.
(A special dispensation is avaiable from the webmaster,
which will allow you to replace the wine with whisky.)
- Shortened Living-room DVD With Menu
This is the same DVD as in 2 above,
with the addition of a menu,
and the subtraction of the Friday buffet.
The menu (which does not work on European machines)
gives you four entry points into the DVD.
Ordering the DVD
To order either 2 or 3 above,
send an email to

Let them know which version (2 or 3) you want
and how you would like to pay the $10 it will
cost them to produce the DVD and get it to you.
The alternatives are:
- By cheque
- By PayPal
- By credit card
(This is really the same as 2,
since what will happen is that
Will & Claudia will initiate a payment through PayPal,
who will send you an email
with a link for you to click on.
This will take you to the secure PayPal site.
Once there, you will be asked
for your credit card details.)
- By special arrangement
(for example travelling to Montreal
and taking them out for dinner.)
DO NOT SEND YOUR CREDIT-CARD DETAILS BY EMAIL!
But DO include the postal address
to which you would like then to send the DVD.
If you choose alternative 1 above,
Will & Claudia will send you a postal address
to which you can send your cheque.
(Provided that you're quick. They move around a lot!)

Bill Rowat did a fabulous job of filming these events.
As you browse the reunion web pages,
you will encounter many pictures with the credit line

These are all snapshots taken from the video
by the webmaster.
We are fortunate to have engaged Bill.
Otherwise, we would have very few pictures
of the reunion that we could use on our web site.
The "professional" photographers that we invited
to take (still) pictures of our reunion have stamped their
copyright on all the pictures they took,
which means that we can't use them online
or in any printed media.
(Future reunion planners beware!)
Bill talks about the kind of video work he does,
and lists some of the major videos he has filmed,
here.
Bill says "In the future I would love to work on documentaries,
short movies and even features.
I think I would work well with small companies
and others that don't have a huge budget but do have a budget."
